Guests will use their creativity to paint salvaged bricks which will be assembled as peace symbol garden planters. These gardens will be constructed by Moms Demand Action volunteers in Pittsburgh area communities that have been impacted by gun violence. Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a proven approach as one way to help end gun violence. Guests can sign up to receive photos of the gardens once they around completed. This is part of the national Wear Orange campaign to spread awareness about the impact of gun violence and honor survivors.
